From our “Support The Troops” department (and remember, our December event isn’t all that far away), this just in from New Horizons…
We have just been directly awarded a special grant for veterans who are in IT and looking to improve their skillsets with CCNA Cisco IT certification and training. This is a pilot program and 100% FREE.
Qualifications: Applicant must be a Veteran, and should be unemployed or underemployed. Must have IT networking background – They do not have to already have their A+ or Network+ certifications – just have had some work experience.
I can take up to 20 participants to start. Also – as far as I know, there are no other parameters (in other words, this doesn’t affect their GI BILL, Vocational Rehabilitation, VRAP benefits because it is a completely separate grant.)
The catch is, they need to be identified asap to begin training in 2 weeks. This is a short-term Cisco Vendor Certified Program with certification exams included!
Qualified candidates must email resume to: Christy.Rowe@nhgreatlakes.com and give me a call: 734-853-2077 so I can pre-qualify them by Monday.
Thanks!
